The Guardians of the Eucharist
Men dedicated to the revival of Eucharistic devotion in the Church
It is based on two principles:
- The Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith. If we get the Eucharist right, everything else will follow.
- Men play a vital role in passing on the faith. If men are visibly living the faith, everyone else will follow.
- Only receive Holy Communion in the State of Grace
- Fast for 2 hours before receiving Communion
- Dress up for Sunday Mass
- Receive Communion kneeling and on the tongue
- Go to confession at least monthly
- Go to at least one Daily Mass each week
- Sign up for a late night Holy Hour
- Offer a fast on Friday's in reparation for sins against the Eucharist
- Refrain from Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month
Whether you are living this out on your own or with a group, know that you are united with many brothers all striving for the same end, that the heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time.
