Receive Communion kneeling and on the tongue

Our bodies are important. What we believe in our hearts must be proclaimed with our bodies. When we take Communion with our hands, it is a very ordinary thing, like when we eat anything else. But this isn’t ordinary food. We are being fed by the God of the universe! Let us receive Holy Communion like the helpless infants we are. Furthermore, every time God shows up in Sacred Scripture people are falling on their faces––how can we not fall on our knees when he shows up. The faithful always have the freedom to kneel. your posture cannot be taken from you.
